Audsviolet I can't fully explain the effect this album has (on me at least); it's like dreaming a fragment of someone else's long lost memory, or perhaps the soundtrack to a film you saw as a child and never found again. And then I found out about the pylons and I've become dangerously over excited for the next release.

davedave Managed to catch Suzy Mangion and Katy Mason give a talk about their project at Bluedot festival and was blown away by the results. Spectacular piece of art from both; worth checking the film out on YouTube. Suzy’s music here is incredibly evocative of what was likely a difficult period in Delia Derbyshire’s life and she captures something of the beauty of the landscape as well as the melancholy of the situation. Haunting and uplifting, sad yet hopeful music. Truly stunning. Thanks

gavin mcadam Theme to Location: heard this on Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone from 11/12/22 and was blown away by it. So bleak and beautiful, this is right up my strasse!
